1. Rifleman

A rifleman, armed with a rifle or possibly a SMG, is one of the core members of the entire community. As a rifleman you will be part of the main fighting force within the group and will see the most action within events. You could be tasked in a close-quarters role or totally opposite to a stand-off role. You will operate in a section of up to 9 other people - taking orders from your commanders and completing them to the best of your ability. You could be tasked with demolitions, overwatch, or clearing duties. For the most diverse gameplay and abundance of roles rifleman is the way to go.

2. Bren Gunner / Assistant

Being part of the Gun Group is something many people wish for. The Gun Group features the main firepower of the section which will be in the hands of either the No.1 or No.2 Bren. In the gun group you will often be the covering element of the rifle group moving - you should be scanning the terrain to the front of you (whilst keeping eyes in the back of your head) and laying down effective suppressing and deliberate fire onto enemy positions following orders from your section commander/second in command. The assistant is responsible for managing the section's Bren ammunition and ensuring a constant flow of ammunition is supplied.

3. Sniper

Summary of Position:
- Qualification of the No.4 Mk1 (T) Sniper Module
The Sniper within the section is often the No.1 Rifleman and is equipped with a Lee-Enfield No.4 rifle attached with a scope - this is the only magnification within the section and must be utilised as such. The role is often used for scouting purposes but is otherwise as any other rifleman. The marksman will often be asked to be in an assaulting group, despite having a scope on their weapon, and this is a trade-off you must consider when applying for the role.

4. 2" Mortarman

Summary of Position:
- Qualification of 2" Mortar Module.
In the section you will often be softening up enemy positions and providing coverage via smoke deployment - you should be scanning the terrain to the front of you (whilst keeping eyes in the back of your head) and understand ranging and elevation onto enemy positions whilst following orders from your section commander/second in command.

5. Senior Rifleman

Requirements:Summary of Position:
- Completion of all basic airborne training modules.
- Attendance average of at least 65% to be maintained throughout.
A senior rifleman is one that has gained a large amount of experience within the sections. Privates that demonstrate mastery of battle drills, exhibit competent use of initiative, and adopt a mentor-like attitude towards others within their section will be considered for Lance Corporal based on billet availability.

- Mentor riflemen in proper procedure according to SOPs
- Maintain morale by demonstrating proper procedure
- Knowledge of battle drills

6. Section 2IC

The Section 2IC should carry out the wishes and regulations of the section commander. The 2IC will handle assignments in the section and ensure that ammunition is continiously flowing to the Bren. They will find themselves near the rear of the formation, ensuring orders reach the entirety of the section, whilst frequently taking direct control over the covering group in combat.

7. Section Commander

8. Orderly

The Platoon Orderly is someone who will be a vital link between sections. The Orderly will go back and forth between the sections and will have to adapt to the situation where their message recipient may not be at the intended location. Orderlies need to be excellent navigators and should be stellar communicators - messages must be relayed exactly as spoken.

9. Batman

He stays with the Platoon Commander at all times, with acting as security in times of rest, relaying radio communications between him and the Platoon Commander and the Company Commander, he is also to assist in any duties the Platoon Commander

10. Platoon Sergeant

- Infantry Training Modules.
The Platoon Sergeant is the 'mother' of the platoon. His responsibilities is to relay the intent of the Platoon Commander in operations by 'kicking the men up the ass' to push them towards the objective and to act as a reinforcing leadership when the Section Commander and 2IC of a Section goes down or is not available. His main responsibilities also involve the management of medical staff within the Platoon, designating First Aid Posts for stretcher bearers to collect wounded and take them back to an aid station. Other attached elements he has to manage as the Commander of the Platoon HQ involve the additional Bren Gunner and the possible Anti-Tank Team.

The Platoon Commander is the person in charge and ultimately responsible for the platoon. Their responsibilities are to ensure the Platoon operates at the highest levels it can in all regards. They must lead the personnel under their charge into battle, train them, and ensure out-of-game all issues are sorted. The Platoon Commander has a stressful and difficult job but it is extremely rewarding.
